What another great race at Bluegrass Speedway with 36 late models taking time trials. Fast qualifier was The Shark Scott James. Mike Jewell won the quick 6 and started the feature on the pole with The Last Outlaw Jesse James Lay on his outside. Lay took the lead into turn 1. With great racing through the field The Shark would wrestle the lead away from Lay. Some contact betweem Scott James, a couple lapped cars and 2nd running Tim Tungate was the cause of a caution to bunch the field back together. On the restart Tungate used the rim to perfection to take the lead from James. On the last lap going in turn 3 James drove his mount in hard enough to take the lead but it slid up the track and Tungate got back around to take the very emotional win. This was the Jerry Rucker Memorial. It was great to see the Rucker family there. Thanks Bluegrass Speedway for a great show!!!!!
