Doug Smith Motorsports will travel to Ponderosa Speedway this Friday night for the Battle of the Bluegrass sanctioned $5,000 to win John Bradshaw Memorial. The #45 Royce McGowan Construction/Double H Race Fabrications/Dinner Bell Restaurant/New China Buffet/R.A. Smith Racing Engines powered Warrior race car currently sits 10th in the series point standings with only a few races remaining.
Depending on how things go this weekend, the 45 team may also be in competition somewhere next Friday night, followed by another BoB show on Saturday at 201 Speedway.
The team hopes to debut a new Rayburn race car at the end of the year, hopefully sometime in November if possible.
