Rice to the Pond & Florence...

(Verona, Kentucky) - Jerry Rice will be at Ponderosa Speedway April 30th & Florence Speedway May 1st. Friday Night will be Jerry's first appearance at Ponderosa in 2004, but it will be his 3rd appearance on the BoB Tour. The 34 Team will be at Florence Speedway for their regular show this weekend. Good Luck to Jerry, and the whole #34 Crew this weekend!

It looked like Jerry was going to have a very good night at the Pond,starting on the front of the 4th heat.After taking the lead Rice pulled the car in the infield because of a fuel pickup problem.He had that some problem last weekend.They are thinking it may be in the fuel cell so it is being changed today.Jerry was sceduled to be at Florence tonight but Mother Nature is being a pain this weekend all through the mid west.I'll post Jerry's plans for next weekend after I talk to him this week.
