I am still aggravated about the outcome of the National 100 at EAMS. Shane was ruling the roost and seemed to be in-line for the $30K payday when all that could go wrong did. It was the poorest managed race I have ever seen. Since when do Super Late Models pack the track? And since when do cautions last for ten-12 laps a piece just for the track owners son to get the tires he needs. The late models ran about 35-40 pace laps ironing out the track. And then no fuel was allowed to be added with out a full pit stop. EAMS normally runs a pretty screwed up weekly event, but how can they do this to top drivers. Shane got screwed!! Sure would like to know Shane's thoughts. It was obvious that he was peeved that night.

I agree completely about the National race. I have been to EAMS a few times this year and that was the worst managed race I have ever seen. EAMS needs to take lessons from the staff at Eldora on how to run a race. I was very disappointed that Shane did not win, he was the class of the field. It looked to me like some of the other World of Outlaw regulars along with Bloomer were very frustrated in the race. I hope EAMS plans to correct there mistakes before next year's race or they may not get a very big crowd. I don't think I will go unless there are some changes.

My worst race of '06 was the night EAMS had the USCS sprint cars and late models.
Every report I see of EAMS is negative.
They have no idea on track prep -
The only positive is fairly cheap beer.
It's on my "Never Agin" list.
